An MFD Construction Method Considering Multi-Source Data Reliability for Urban Road Networks

چکیده

Road network traffic management and control are the key mechanisms to alleviate urban congestion. With this study, we aimed characterize flow state of road networks using Macroscopic Fundamental Diagram (MFD) support area control. The core property an MFD is that maximized when stays at optimal accumulation state. can be used optimize temporal spatial distribution with applications such as gating construction basis these MFD-based applications. Although many studies have been conducted construct MFDs, few dedicated improving accuracy considering reliability different sources data. To end, propose method multi-source data based on Dempster–Shafer evidence (DS evidence) theory sources. First, was constructed VTD CSD, separately. Then, fused derived by quantifying for each parameter DS theory. results under real simulated show MFDs greatly improved (the maximum estimation error reduced 22.3%). proposed has potential evaluation operations optimization signal schemes networks.
